The Foundation makes a $200 award to one (1) student at each DSBN Secondary School.
A $300 bursary for the 2018/19 school year will be awarded to four (4) qualifying students.
A $500 bursary for the 2018/19 school year will be awarded to one (1) qualifying student.
A $500 bursary for the 2018/19 school year will be awarded to six (6) qualifying students.
Students who have graduated from Connaught Public School can apply for the Edward Mirynech Student Bursary which provides $1,000 to one (1) student with financial need and who is registered for first year at a Canadian college or university.
A $1,000 bursary for the 2018/19 school year will be awarded to three (3) qualifying students.

A $750 bursary for the 2018/2019 school year is being awarded to 1 qualifying student.
Ontario First Generation Bursary Each publicly-assisted college or university in Ontario has their own application and sets the amount of the bursary, ranging from $1,000 to $3,500. Check with the school's financial aid office for application details.

The Canada Learning Bond is $500 offered by the Government of Canada to help start saving for a child's education after high school. Plus, the child could get $100 every year until he or she turns 15 years old to a maximum of $2,000. Canada Learning Bond Brochure. A child is eligible to receive the Canada Learning Bond if:
-he or she was born January 1, 2004 or after; and
-the child's parent / guardian receives the National Child Benefit Supplement
-a resident of Canada
-has a valid Social Insurance Number
